in-house forklift truck training specialists.

We train Counterbalance and Reach Lift trucks of all makes and models. We will train novices, experienced and untrained operators all under RTITB accreditation throughout Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth and Aberdeen
  We provide Forklift training to RTITB standard. We can organise servicing & repair to all makes and models of forklift trucks with a 24 hour call out service, with our engineers certified to carry out Loler and thorough examinations.

We have have been training since 1995 within the forklift sector and can help you in every part of your business or career. Refresher Course
1 Days Max. 3 candidates
Please note that the HSE & Awarding Bodies all require proof of previous training, preferably in the form of a previous certificate, to book a refresher course. Refresher training is recommended every 3 - 5 years depending on your industry, size of company, accident record with another factor to consider which is actural experience using the forklift truck as this could reduce when a refresher course is to be carried out, reducing the training period to 12 or 18 months.

Conversion / Familliarisation - 1 - 3 Days
Max. 3 candidates per course depending on lifting capacity of forklift truck.

Course Aim
On completion of training, successful course candidates will:
• Be able to operate the forklift truck used in training, safely and correctly, in accordance with the manufacturer's handbook and accepted good practice.
• Clearly understand the causes of instability of the truck and load, and to be able to minimise their effect.
• Be able to carry out and record satisfactorily a routine pre-use inspection of the truck, reporting approprately any faults identified.

Additional Information
Candidates should inform at the time of booking, their trainer if they have any serious health issues, physical problems, special considerations or are taking any medication, which may create difficulties in undertaking elements of this training course.

Incorporated in November 1998, the name ‘RTITB’ (formerly The Road Transport Industry Training Board) has been synonymous with the road freight and logistics industry for 40 years. They are an independent and impartial training accreditation body, working extensively in the road haulage and distribution industry.

RTITB maintains a national register of Lift Truck and Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) instructors and LGV assessors, and offers a wide range of consulting services. It also operates the RTITB Master Driver Certificate of Competence for professional LGV drivers.
